After six years, it's finally here: a rematch vs Node! Since Due Process is quickly approaching a very special milestone, we thought it is time to give the Node crew a chance to dive back in. Take a look:

Beta release on August 20th

Due Process is currently in Alpha and you can help us test the game. Just follow the instructions in the #get-alpha-access channel in our Discord server.

However, as mentioned in the video, Due Process is almost ready! We are very proud of the current state of the game - the gameplay is fun, the performance is solid, and networking has been greatly improved. We are ready to open Due Process to the public, and with that, we will be moving from an invite-only Alpha to a public Beta on Thursday August 20th. That’s next week!

This will be a paid Beta. This means that you will be able to buy the game directly on Steam for $24.99 (or regional equivalent). Buying it during the Beta will also give you access on release. You will not have to buy the game twice. The game will be sold on an unlisted store-page - you could call it a guerilla Beta. People browsing the Steam store will still see the game as “coming soon”. You must follow a special direct link in order to purchase the game. This is done to prevent people from just casually wandering in. Additionally you might not be able to purchase the game at all times, depending on whether or not we need more players and the stability of our servers.

Since this is a beta, we’ll be listening to your feedback and working to fix whatever bugs you run into. If you have issues or thoughts, our Discord and Subreddit are the best places to share.

Alpha testers keep access

We are very grateful for our Alpha testers. They have spent countless hours testing our game, even when it was in a far rougher state where 'fun' was the goal and not the reality. Many went to great lengths to give us useful feedback which was invaluable to our development process. With that in mind, and as a form of thank you, we've decided that all testers who are already in the Alpha or get in before the 20th, will keep access to the game throughout the entire Beta period, free of charge!

Due to the overwhelming interest in the Alpha, we might not be able to give everyone access. However, everyone who signed-up and meets our hardware requirements, will get priority access to the Beta.

NDA

Please note, that our Alpha is under NDA. You are not allowed to share pictures, videos, sounds or music from the game with non-testers. Not now nor any time in the future (even after release of the game).

The Beta, however, is under no NDA whatsoever. You're not just free to stream the game, make videos, and share screenshots, we encourage you to do so, as it's time to get the word out. The beta is unlisted so the size of the player pool is in large part going to depend on you getting the word out. Tell your friends. Tell your family. Heck, tell your dog! (provided he has a steam account and a mic).

We are looking forward to an exciting time with you all!
