The last time we exhibited in Seattle was back in 2015! Back then we had rendered hit-boxes, grey levels, and you sank into the floor when you crouched. Our return to PAX West has been long overdue so we came out swinging with our updated art style, multiple map tile sets, a pre-round practice range, gameplay improvements, and topped it all off with new weapons and equipment. We were also hosted at Red Bull Challenge Mode on Friday and Saturday evenings. Let’s take a look at how it all went down.

PAX West 2018

Red Bull Challenge Mode

Red Bull Challenge Mode went on during PAX as well, our first sponsored appearance. iam8bit set up a sweet 56k Mart using art from the game! They included things that inspired Due Process, like a complete Judge Dredd Comic collection, Robocop playing on various CRT TVs, and a working Sega Saturn with a copy of Virtua Cop. We played matches against community members, streamers, and even Cloud 9!

A Great Show

At the end of it all, our booths were a huge success thanks to Annapurna, Red Bull, and everyone who came by to Due Process at both venues. We got covered by people like Game Informer and Ars Technica, met a ton of streamers, and got to chat with Reddit and Discord community members in person. Thanks again to everyone who came out to play Due Process, we’ll see you all next time!

We had a new face with us this year. Zack, standing center, is our newest artist and has been working on character customization. More on that soon!
